One UI 6.0 update won’t available for these Samsung Galaxy devices

The South Korean electronics company usually begins releasing its new Android updates late. When they start, they don’t stop; they keep sending the update to many devices all over the world. We think they’ll do the same for the new One UI 6.0 software, which is based on Android 14. But here’s the thing: some of the popular devices from a couple of years ago won’t get this new software update.

Several Galaxy devices have slowly started to receive the beta upgrade that started with the Galaxy S23 series in several regions. Every smartphone owner is curious to find out that their device is on the list of models that will receive the update. On the other hand, certain Galaxy smartphones might not get the impending One UI 6.0 upgrade. This is surprising, as several high-end premium Galaxy smartphones will not be receiving One UI 6.0.

Samsung follows the tradition of discontinuing some of its more traditional models in order to concentrate on its more recent offerings, as the firm has the strongest support policy for Android upgrades. Earlier, it was reported that the Galaxy S23 series, S22 series, S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A53, Galaxy M54, and Galaxy M53 are all eligible models that may receive One UI 6.0.

Samsung’s phones won’t get One UI 6 & Android 14 update

Analyzing this, we can also expect a list of devices that won’t be receiving the new One UI skin. The Galaxy S20 series—the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra—are the three high-end models that were introduced in 2020. Maybe it is because they have already passed their service term limit. The Galaxy Note 20 and the most loved Galaxy Note 20 Ultra also fall under the same category; Android 13 over One UI 5.1.1 will be their last upgrade. Finally, coming to the foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 2, which is the first ever foldable from the firm, will not be getting a newer update.

Samsung One UI 6 Beta program will be live in more markets from tomorrow

The Galaxy S21 series, which was released on the same line just a few months ago, will receive One UI 6 over Android 14. Although these Samsung Galaxy smartphones won’t be receiving Android 14 or One UI 6.0, we can expect them to receive firmware security upgrades. However, this is not the confirmed listing of the not-eligible devices.
