Samsung rolls out One UI 5.1.1 to Galaxy Tab S6 Lite

Samsung is aggressively rolling out the One UI 5.1.1 update to its eligible Galaxy devices. In the first phase, the company has updated several high-end Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy Tab S8 and several Galaxy Z series smartphones. Now, the company is expanding the update to the older Galaxy Tab S6 Lite device.
Notably, the latest update is now spotted in the LTE variant in Europe. Users can easily identify the latest update by the firmware version number P619XXU4BWH3. The device is still using the same July patch that came with the previous update. One more thing to note is that the update is currently available for the 2022 model of the Galaxy Tab S6, while the original one is still waiting.
The latest update brings new One UI 5.1.1 enhancements, which are coming to several system-level apps, including Taskbar, Camera, Gallery, and Taskbar. The update also brings some more improvements for multitasking. If we compare the latest One UI 5.1.1 update, which was received on other latest devices, then this one is getting very few new features. The reason behind this may be hardware limitations.
The original Galaxy Tab S6 Lite was introduced back in 2020. The device came with Android 10. Later, it grabbed three more Android updates, and currently it is running on Android 13-based One UI 5.1. After two years, Samsung relaunched the device with some updated specs as the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022). The device comes with Android 12, and it also got Android 13 in the previous updates. It is expected that the device will get two more major updates and several patch updates in the future.
