Samsung’s affordable lineup of Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s smartphones is about to go on sale this year. The forthcoming Galaxy A05 smartphone has already acquired various certifications, including the FCC, BIS, and Wi-Fi Alliance, a few days ago. Additionally, the gadget recently showed up on the Google Play Console. The listing included renderings and its primary technical details. The Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s bear the model numbers SM-A055F and SM-A057F. As per the leaked image, the Galaxy A05 features a dual-camera arrangement on the rear, while the Galaxy A05s has a triple-camera setup. A 50 MP main camera is included on both phones. This looks similar to their predecessors, the Galaxy A04 and A04s from the previous year. One of the Galaxy A05s will arrive with a 4 GB RAM variant. The A05’s display will continue to have a pixel resolution of 720 x 1,600, according to the Google Play Console.
There is no information on the internal storage, but both models should be dual-SIM smartphones with a dedicated slot for a microSD card. Both smartphones should have 5,000mAh batteries and 15W charging. Both devices come pre-installed with the One UI 5-based Android 13 operating system. Several features like a USB Type-C connector, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, a single loudspeaker, a microphone, and an LED flash are shared by both smartphones. Both smartphones lack a 5G connection since they use the MediaTek Helio G85 CPU. This may result in a performance enhancement over the Galaxy A04s, which employed the Exynos 850 processor.
No official announcement about the launch has been made by the firm yet, but compared to its predecessor, which was released in August 2022, the Galaxy A05 and A05s will hit the market anytime soon. In several regions, like Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia, Samsung intends to introduce the Galaxy A05 and the Galaxy A05s.
