Telegram’s 10th Birthday Gift to Users: Stories for Channels and More
Telegram is one of the most popular social media platforms, offering several interesting features for a better communication experience. Last month, the company officially spent 10 years offering services to its users, so on the occasion of its birthday, the company has brought some new changes for its consumers. More specifically, the story feature is now expanded with some more new features.
Stories are now available for channels
The feature of posting stories will be available for channels as well. However, it all depends on the users, because when they give a boost to their favorite channel on the basis of the boost, the channel will get a level update, and every time it hits a new level, it will get a limited expansion of the story update.
Reaction stickers in stories
Now users are able to add dozens of stickers to their stories; it is just like the feature that was previously available on Instagram. However, the premium subscribers will get some new options to create their own custom emojis as well. It is also worth noticing that normal users will only be able to add five stickers, while premium users will get up to five.
View once media and new login alerts
Telegram ensures the safety of your account. Previously, every time a new login happened to your account, you received a dedicated notification. Now, to make this more noticeable, the new login now displays this alert at the top of the chat list. While now you can use view once media in a new way as you can set a time for how long it should be displayed to other users, you can set it up to 30 seconds.
Apart from new features, the company developer team has also added several bug fixes and optimizations that could improve the user experience and make the app more user-friendly. All these new features are not limited to any one operating system but will be available on all platforms where Telegram is compatible.
