Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G getting October 2023 update

Samsung is rapidly expanding the October 2023 patch to Galaxy devices, as in the first wave it has brought the new update to the different devices irrespective of their price range. However, it is worth noticing that, currently, the company has introduced the update in the US. But now it has expanded the update to the Latin American region for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G.
The October 2023 patch is the latest security patch update for Galaxy devices. Don’t expect any new features or novelty for the devices because this is a normal patch that doesn’t belong to One UI. The only aim of the new security patch is to improve the security mechanisms of Galaxy devices.
According to the official documentation, the October 2023 update brings more than 40 fixes that resolve issues related to Samsung’s devices’ internal vulnerabilities and Android OS. In detail, there are 34 fixes included by Google to eradicate the security vulnerabilities found in the Android OS. Along with these, Samsung has also introduced 12 more fixes that improve the security mechanisms of Galaxy devices.
The latest security patch update for Galaxy Z Flip 3 is now live in several Latin American countries, including Columbia, Guatemala, Panama, Peru, and Trinidad & Tobago. Users can identify the new update with the firmware version F711BXXS6FWI1. Earlier, the device also grabbed the One UI 5.1.1 update, which was a feature-full update for the device.
If you own the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in any of the mentioned countries, you can easily update your phone to the latest version by following these steps: Go to settings, choose software update, and tap the Download and Install menu. Next, it will search for the update available to see if it is available, so tap on the Download button.
