Samsung rolls out October 2023 update to several Galaxy devices in Europe and Asia
Samsung is rapidly expanding the October 2023 update for Galaxy devices. The company has already rolled out the update to almost all of the Galaxy devices, but due to server limitations, the update hasn’t reached every region, so to expand the update to the other regions, the company is gradually distributing the update regions.
Notably, the Korean giant is now rolling out an October 2023 update for these Galaxy devices: The Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy S20 FE are getting new updates in several countries in Asia and Europe.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is getting a new update with a firmware version of F946BXXS1AWI6. While the Indian model and European models of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 are getting the new update with different firmware version numbers (F731BXXS1AWI5) and (F731BXXS1AWI6 respectively,
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are getting a new update with firmware version numbers F936BXXS4DWI1 and F721BXXS4DWI1. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy S20 FE 5G (Europe) are reviving the new update with firmware version numbers G780GXXS7EWI3 and G781BXXS8HWI3 respectively. The LTE version of the Galaxy S20 FE has been spotted receiving new updates in several Asian countries, including Europe, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
It is worth noticing that the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5 have already grabbed the update in the US.
According to official documentation, nearly four dozen fixes were introduced, of which 34 were added by Google, which resolved the issues related to the Android OS. Along with this, Samsung also added 12 more patches that exclusively fix the security vulnerabilities related to the Galaxy devices.
Samsung’s foldable devices are the latest flagship lineup that will soon grab the attention of users, but it looks like these products do not get their best specifications and don’t specify their usability. However, the company has tried its best with the fifth generation foldable, but there are still a lot of scopes left. Let’s hope Samsung will introduce some new utility options for these devices.
