Samsung Galaxy A24 and Galaxy Tab S8 Series get the October 2023 update


Samsung has done appreciative work in terms of distributing new updates. It has already released the October 2023 update to several Galaxy devices, but as usual, it has given the update to a limited number of devices, and now gradually, it is expanding the update to more Galaxy devices, like the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy A24, that get new updates.

Currently, the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra Wi-Fi variants are getting a new update in some European countries, which is coming with firmware version numbers X700XXS5BWI1, X800XXS5BWI1, and X900XXS5BWI1, respectively. As far as the LTE variant is concerned, it has already received an update early this month.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A24 is getting the same patch with firmware version number  A245MUBS3AWJ1 and has been spotted receiving it in some Latin American countries, including Brazil, Panama, Mexico, etc. It is expected that the company could expand the update to more countries.

October 2023 is the latest security update that enhances the security of Galaxy devices. According to Samsung’s official documentation, the latest update will come with a lot of new fixes. In detail, there are more than 40 fixes coming for the Galaxy devices, of which 34 were added by Google to enhance the overall issues of the Android OS. To bring extra enhancements for Galaxy devices, Samsung has also packed 12 more fixes with the latest patch.

Moreover, the latest update may also bring some improvements to your device, so you can enjoy its performance and stability of functions. Along with this, if you are facing any issues, it is possible that the update may resolve them, so you should update these devices to the latest version.

  1. First, go to the main settings.
  2. Then click on the software update menu.
  3. Here, tap on the Download and Install option.
  4. Now tap on the download button.
  5. Once you complete the steps, the latest update will be installed automatically.
