Samsung SSD comes with software that helps in synchronizing the drive with your PC, which is named Samsung Magica. Now, to make the software more usable, the company has released the latest version of it, Magician 8.0. This will not only manage the internal and external SSDs from Samsung but also other storage devices, including SD cards, microSDs, and USB flash drives.
The latest version of Magician is not only limited to widows, but it is now expanded to macOS and Android devices. The main function of the software is to boost the performance of the storage, check it for possible errors, and protect data from unauthorized access.
Additionally, the software also provides a simple and secure way to carry out firmware updates. It provides you with two modes, including full performance and energy-saving modes, for the external and internal SSDs. If these are not suitable for your setup, you can also customize the individual benchmarks for setting performance and power consumption.
Samsung Magician comes with more advantages, like the ability to detect if you are using the original product or not. Whenever you use the software, it scans all the data about the SSD and also matches it to the official servers. If the data doesn’t match with the official manufacturer, it warns users that they are using a fake product or one from another manufacturer with a similar product name.
Moreover, if you want to use the software, you can download it from the official site. It is available for Windows 10 or later and High Sierra 10.13.6 or later.
