Spotify Premium Users Can Now Listen to Free Audiobooks in the USA

US users of Spotify Premium now get free access to the on-demand library of over 200,000 audiobooks. Not only this, but the 15 hours of listening each month are also accompanying. For a time now, you could add audiobooks to your collection on Spotify by purchasing them individually. Back in 2022, the company revealed a major announcement that it would make “free” audiobooks available to paying customers in selected regions.
If you need to top up in between paying cycles, you can purchase ten hours of additional listening for $12.99. Prior to its debut, Spotify raised the price of additional hours, which it had previously stated would cost $10.99 in the US. Spotify stated in a press release introducing the additional benefit that the 15-hour restriction “should get you around two average audiobooks per month.” Spotify customers in Australia and the UK have had access to audiobooks for weeks by now. Plan managers for Spotify Family and Duo accounts, as well as all Premium individuals, are eligible for this offer.

The Settings tab of your account is where you can buy these top-ups. A bar that indicates the number of hours you have listened to and how long you can hear is also there. Audiobooks tagged as “Included in Premium” will be available for listening to US Spotify Premium customers starting on Wednesday. As per the business, almost 70% of the best-selling audiobooks are listed under the Spotify Premium catalog, which includes,
