Samsung Galaxy S21 FE getting November 2023 update in Europe

After releasing the November 2023 update to almost every high-end Galaxy device, the company is now gradually expanding it to more units of those devices. For instance, the Galaxy S21 FE has received the new security patch in several countries, including the US. Now, these devices have started receiving the same update as the European units.

As you know, the Galaxy S21 FE is available in two modals, one of which is G990B and the other is G990B2, so the user who owns any of the models can identify the latest update by the firmware version numbers G990BXXS6EWJB and G990B2XXS5EWJB, respectively. The update is currently being spotted in some European countries, including Ireland.

The latest update for the Galaxy S21 FE is the November 2023 security update. It is coming with a lot of improvements for the devices, and from them, the main aim of the update is to provide security-related enhancements. Additionally, it may also bring some more improvements, so it can boost the performance and stability of the devices.

According to the official documentation, the latest update for the device will bring a bunch of new patches, which will improve the security of the devices internally. Going into details, the latest update patch will come with more than 60 patches that will fix the Android OS and Galaxy device’s vulnerability issues.

The Galaxy S21 FE was launched back in 2022. Samsung has packed the device with Android 12. Later,  it received a new major update in the form of Android 13. As per Samsung policy, this device is eligible for at least four major updates, so it will get three more major and several security updates in the future.
