Galaxy S24’s AI features will require internet access with a Samsung and Google account

When Samsung unveils the Galaxy S24 series later this month, Galaxy AI will be the key marketing theme. The company’s next flagship series will have several hardware enhancements, but the software component will take center stage. The Galaxy S24 series will include numerous AI capabilities that enhance many facets of the user experience. For example, the Galaxy S24 series will include a powerful photo-editing tool called Generative Edit.

In the meantime, the real-time translation provided by the live translation function enables you to converse in foreign languages. Certain features, including those of Samsung’s virtual assistant Bixby, operate on the smartphone without an internet connection. However, as Samsung stated in the Galaxy S24 Unpacked official launch teaser, not everything functions without an internet connection.

A Samsung smartphone and a Google account are required for all Galaxy AI functions, as stated in Samsung’s teaser. The statement “Galaxy AI features require Samsung and Google accounts. An Internet connection may be required to use some features.” This “some” may mean a few AI functions may fall under the mentioned condition. Galaxy smartphones now need logging into both a Google and Samsung account to get the greatest experience, and the Galaxy S24 series will undoubtedly make this even more crucial.

The next Galaxy Unpacked event would take place on January 18, 2024, as per a little video teaser that Samsung’s Twitter/X account posted. Starting at 5 a.m. local time, or 10 a.m. PT, the event begins. It is unbelievable that the post was published on December 27th.
