January 2024 security update for Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 expanding in more regions
Yesterday, Samsung started rolling out the latest security patch, January 2024, for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 devices. The update was spotted in the European region, but with the latest development, it is now rolling out in the Asia region as well.
Notably, both of the devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4, started receiving the update with the firmware version numbers F936BXXS4EWL5 and F721BXXS4EWL5, respectively. The update was specifically spotted in India and is expected to be available in more countries in the coming days.
The January 2024 patch software update is one of the latest patches that will bring some enhancements for improving the overall security of Galaxy devices.
