Samsung has already started rolling out the latest security patch, January 2024, to its Galaxy devices started with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, and as you know, the company will take time to release the update to all the devices, so therefore users have to wait for some more time to get the update on their devices. Galaxy S21 users in Canada can expect their devices to receive the new security patch in the next few days.
According to Fido, a popular network carrier in Canada, Samsung could release the January 2024 Security update to the Galaxy S21 series devices, including the Galaxy S21, S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra, tomorrow; however, it is not a hundred percent accurate, but it indicated that in the coming few days.
The January 2024 security patch is one of the standard security patch updates that doesn’t bring any new features or novelties for the users, but it will include some new security enhancements for the devices.
According to the official documentation, the latest security patch includes 80 fixes for the devices that are included by Google and Samsung. In a nutshell, 70+ fixes are included by Google, while another 5 fixes are added by Samsung, which will improve the internal functioning of the devices.
Users can easily check the update on their devices by following these steps: First, open the settings, go to the software update menu, tap on the download and install option, wait for some time to finish the search, and if it shows an update available, then hit the download button.
