Galaxy S24 Ultra is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
Qualcomm has recently launched its latest chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It has already come built-in with several Android devices, but Samsung has brought a more powerful full version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which brings some more powerful enhancements exclusively for Galaxy S24 series devices in Canada, China, and the US.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy is equipped with more power for Galaxy S24
Like last year, Samsung has released its Galaxy S23 device, which is powered by a tailor-made Snapdragon second-generation processor with a higher clocked version, and it is following the same with the Galaxy S24 series.
According to the information, the latest Snapdragon processor is made on TSMC’s 4nm process and has eight CPU cores. For graphics, it has an Adreno 750 GPU and a powerful NPU, which makes generative AI and personalized AI features for Galaxy S24 series devices.
However, currently, there is no official information available regarding the clock speeds of CPU cores. However, some rumors claim that it is equipped with 1 Cortex 3.39 GHz, 3 Cortex A720 with 3.1 GHz clock speed, 2 Cortex A720 with 2. GHz clock speed, and 2 Cortex A520 with 2.2 GHz clock speed. Addressing the partnership over the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, Chris Patrick, SVP and General Manager of the Mobile Handset division at Qualcomm, said:
