Verizon Galaxy Tab A9+ gets January 2024 security patch in the USA

Samsung has rolled out the January 2024 security patch to many devices but is still not successful in completing the update to every Galaxy device. Even newer Galaxy devices like the Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+ have not received the update, but now the Galaxy A9+, locked to Verizon, is starting to receive a new update.

The Verizon-locked Galaxy Tab A9+ is getting a January 2024 security patch with the firmware version number X218USQS1AXA1. It is the latest security patch that will improve the internal functioning of the devices by fixing several functionalities.

According to the official documentation, Google and Samsung have included a total of 80 fixes in the latest security patch. Google has added 75 new patches that address issues related to the Android OS found in previous updates, while Samsung has added 5 patches that exclusively address issues found in Galaxy devices.
