Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra Receive January 2024 Update in Canada

Notably, the Galaxy S23 has already received the January 2024 security patch in almost all regions, and now the Canada-based units are starting to get a new update. Users who own the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra have the firmware version numbers S911WVLS2BWL7, S916WVLS2BWL7, and S918WVLS2BWL7, respectively. It comes with a 400MB software package.

The latest security patch is coming with a total of 80 fixes from them. There are 75 fixes added by Google, and the other 5 are included by Samsung. It is worth noticing that the fixes added by Google aim to provide stability to the functions included under the Android OS, while the Samsung ones offer fixes for Galaxy devices exclusively.

Along with this, the update may also improve the overall performance and stability of the devices. So in case you are having any issues with the last firmware update, you should install the latest update.

To install the latest update on your device, you just need to go to the main system settings, then select the software update menu, then click on the Download and Install button. If it shows a new update available, then tap on the download button.
