Samsung’s new foldable devices spotted in development, Q6A could be the affordable one

Samsungfor the convenience of its fans who prefer budgetable Galaxy smartphones as per their budgets, is gearing up to launch a cheaper foldable Galaxy Z Fold smartphone.

A couple of days ago, it was revealed that the Korean giants are setting up to launch an affordable variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphone. Recent reports reveal more information about that device, according to which Samsung has three new foldable smartphones in the developing mode, along with their code names – B6, Q6, and Q6A.

As per the brand’s track history, a higher probability is that B6 will probably be the Galaxy Z Flip 6, whereas Q6 will be launched as the Galaxy Z Fold 6. But the term Q6A is pretty new. Throughout history, the Korean tech giants had never used the ‘A’ suffix in the internal codenames of its Q, which stands for Galaxy Z Fold series smartphones. But by this codename, it is expected that Q6A stands for Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE.

According to previous reports, it has already been revealed that Galaxy Z Fold 6 will lack S Pen functionality. Somehow, it appears as a sensible way to cut the price of a foldable smartphone by just dropping down the S Pen compatibility; however, it is not even used by many people anyway, as Samsung has not yet shipped a Galaxy Z Fold 6 device with a built-in S Pen slot.

Jumping on to the next thing, Samsung has set a goal of selling 10 million foldable smartphones per year, but unfortunately, it failed to reach that target back in 2022 and 2023. So, it is trying to debut more affordable smartphones, and the first such device could be the Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE.
