Published

Samsung has revived its powerful Exynos chipset with the latest Galaxy S24 series. For your information, the company has released its latest Exynos 2400-powered Galaxy S24 base and Galaxy S24+ devices. Due to past experiences, several users have feared going again with the Exynos variant devices.

In the past, whenever Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S series with the Exynos-powered device, Galaxy users have faced several issues, like overheating and low performance. Due to overheating issues, the users have also faced battery draining issues. After facing these issues, several users have feared buying the Exynos variant.

After getting plenty of complaints, Samsung has also ditched its Exynos processor lineup from last year’s flagship lineup, the Galaxy S23 series, which shows that there are some problems within the Exynos chipsets, but now the company is reviving its Exynos series again, and the latest Exynos 2400 is giving tough competition to the latest Snapdragon processor.

Exynos 2400 even defeats the Snapdragon in GPU performance

The Exynos 2400 chipset can be a game changer for Samsung, as with this chipset, the company has successfully produced nearly the same processing performance as the Snapdragon and also defeated it in GPU performance. Going into details, this time Samsung has designed the deca-core chipset, which has enhanced the ability to balance multiple processes at the same time. Due to this innovation, the Galaxy S24 devices equipped with the Exynos are also more battery-efficient in comparison to companion devices.

With the new enhancements, the Exynos-powered devices have also managed to defeat the Snapdragon variant in terms of GPU performance. For your information, the Exynos-equipped Galaxy S24 + has scored 15774 in the GPU test, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra has only got 15120. This is all done with a new improved GPU processor introduced, the Xclipse 940, while the Snapdragon version has used the Adreno 750. This is the key difference that makes the Exynos-powered Galaxy S24 stand out and make it a top contender to give tough competition for the

Galaxy Z Flip 5 Cover

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is on its way to make its debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The note-worthy fact is that the giant is not downgrading the cover display of the phone, as it will feature an AMOLED panel on the inside as well as the outside.

A couple of days ago, even before the official launch, a few images of the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6 leaked online. The leaked image suggests that the Korean giant is looking forward to attaching an AMOLED panel to the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6 device.

However, it appears that the Samsung employee who created that leaked spec sheet made a typo. The report says that the cover screen of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be similar to that of its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 5. It will feature a 3.4-inch diagonal, the same folder-like shape, and a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

Samsung has yet to announce the official specs and features of the phone, but following leaks and rumors, it’s expected that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The memory package could include 8GB and 12GB of RAM variants. It will feature a 50MP primary rear camera and a 4,000 mAh battery.

It will run Android 14 and One UI 6.1.1 out of the box. The Korean giant has added some new Galaxy AI features that could arrive on existing devices through a software update. Along with the Galaxy Z Flip 6, the brand will also launch its sibling, the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Potentially, both could be eligible for seven years of OS and security patches.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim could feature a bigger display than the standard model

Samsung is aggressively ready to launch its next-gen Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Flip 6 next week at the launch event. Apart from these two, the brand is also gearing up to launch the slimmer variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which could be on the floor as soon as Q4 2024.

The new report from The Elec says that the production schedule for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 slim model has been finalized. If the report is to be believed, the brand could introduce the device as soon as Q4 2024, and 400,000 to 500,000 units will be shipped by the end of this year. However, the brand will make the slimmer variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 available only in selected markets.

The Korean website also suggested that the forthcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 slim variant will feature a larger cover screen and folding display. In light of this fact, it’s expected that it could feature a 6.5-inch smartphone display and an 8-inch folding screen. Whereas the actual Galaxy Z Fold 6 model is supposed to feature a 6.2 or 6.3-inch outer and a 7.6-inch folding screen.

On the comparison side, Honor Magic V2 features a 7.29-inch folding and 6.43-inch outer screen, and Vivo X Fold 3 Pro has an 8.3-inch folding screen and a 6.53-inch outer screen. So the slimmer Galaxy Z Fold 6 would offer similarly large screens.

Reportedly, a few years back, Samsung had previously developed a Z Fold device with an 8-inch folding screen, but unfortunately, due to the foldable’s thickness, it was never seen on the market. Noticeably, the new variant will lack S Pen support, but it’ll be thinner as compared to the actual Z Fold 6. It was also noted that some unnamed components will have ‘higher specifications’ than the standards in Z Fold 6.

Samsung is just a week away from the official launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. Ahead of the official debut, leaks and rumors are continuously blowing in the market. Now the new leak says that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 makes smart use of the cover screen for language translation.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 will run Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 out of the box. This software version will bring dozens of new AI-powered tools, including a new feature that uses the cover screen intelligently during language translation. A tipster on X shared marketing images of the Galaxy Z Flip 6. It has been revealed that Samsung has upgraded the interpreter mode for foldable phones.

The images showcase that translated text is also visible on the cover screen to make it easier to see for the person conversing with the phone’s user. On the other side, a similar feature is also expected to arrive for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Although Google has already introduced a similar feature for the Pixel Fold, now Samsung is looking forward to the feature.

This feature will be beneficial in scenarios like international business meetings where you do not understand your colleague’s language. This feature will only work in Flex Mode, which means you have to fold the Galaxy Z Flip 6’s screen halfway to activate the cover screen. The latest Galaxy Z Flip 5 already has the Interpreter Mode, so it’s quite possible that the brand could expand this feature to the Galaxy Z Fold 5.
