Samsung Is Planning To Deliver Instant Slow-Mo Feature To Older Galaxy Devices

The Galaxy S24 family has arrived with lots of fine features, obviously for which the older Galaxy smartphone’s users are craving, one of which is Instant Slow-Mo for videos.
To settle down the cravings of Galaxy users for this convenient feature, a moderator in the Samsung Community Forum has unveiled that the brand is gearing up to bring the Instant Slow-Mo features that debuted on the Galaxy S24 recently to previous flagship devices. In addition, the brand plans to enhance this feature in the future by adding support for 10-bit videos, as it is currently limited to 8-bit videos only.
The brand will support 480p resolution videos currently limited from 720p to 8K and the .mov video file format presently limited to .mp4 files.

Regarding this feature, the Korean giants have explained that this Slow-Mo feature needs a powerful GPU and powerful NPU, so bringing this feature to every Galaxy device is not possible. The Galaxy devices powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset easily accept this feature due to its powerful GPU and NPU. That is why the brand has mentioned the Galaxy device name, which is powered by a strong and powerful chipset.
The brand has not officially revealed anything regarding the arrival of this feature with the forthcoming One UI 6.1 update yet. Whereas one can easily share the slow-motion videos with others, that means that one can convert regular videos into slow-motion videos and share them on social media or via messaging applications.
The Korean brand has removed the 720p and 960p video recording features named Super Slow-Mo from the Galaxy S24, and on behalf of this change, the giants stated that users can create similar videos by shooting 4K 120fps videos and then using Instant Slow-Mo to make those videos even slower.
