A few days ago, it was revealed that Apple was gearing up to make its debut in the foldable industry by launching its very first foldable iPhone. But now the reports are saying something else and lowering the morale of Apple’s fan community.

Now the reports are saying that Apple has stopped its manufacturing cycle for launching foldable smartphones, and the reason behind this instant decision is a screen durability issue. It is known by the theories of Phone Arena, citing “Fixed Focus Digital,”  that the fruit company Apple has dropped the development of a foldable iPhone, at least for now, since it is unable to stand on its own standards and it fails in the durability testing of the existing foldable smartphone screen.

The reports are also saying that Apple has been accelerating research and development of foldable products in the form of buying foldable phones from competitors, which include Samsung Electronics, and then disassembling and examining them.

Although there’s one more reason for postponing the plan, which is that during the process, one of the gadgets grabbed by the brand was many times folded and unfolded for multiple days, and unfortunately the screen got damaged. The product is a panel manufactured by Samsung Display panel, and it is said that the brand stopped developing foldable phones at the time.

Undoubtedly, foldable phones appear to have the biggest technical challenges; for instance, most importantly, hinges, screen durability, wrinkles, and more. Some reports are also saying that Apple will launch its forthcoming iPad before a foldable iPhone. Since the iPad does not have a wide range of sales, somewhere, it manages areas that may have issues.
