Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Galaxy Z Flip 6 Visit BIS Certification
Samsung is actively working on expanding the foldable family by debuting the sixth generation foldable, obviously the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The next generation of foldables from Samsung—the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6—have been in the leaks and rumors for a few days. Already, several details regarding the battery, design, and performance of the upcoming foldables have been revealed.
Now, recent reports reveal that the sixth generation of Samsung’s foldable phones may have dual battery setups. Not only this, but the model numbers of both batteries also get spotted in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database, which are as follows:
Galaxy Z Flip 6:
- EB-BF741ABE
- EB-BF741ABY
The other two model numbers for the batteries of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 are also spotted on the BIS certification database, which are as follows:
Galaxy Z Fold 6:
- EB-BF956ABE
- EB-BF956ABY
These model numbers have been spotted on the BIS certification database. This is a sign that Samsung has received regulatory approval from the Indian Standards Authority for the launch of foldable phones using these batteries.
It was already revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are expected to feature sleeker frames and a less noticeable screen crease as compared to their predecessors. Both smartphones will likely come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for the Galaxy processor. It is reported that this time the brand will attach a 4,000mAh battery to the Galaxy Z Flip 6 instead of the 3,700mAh battery available in the Galaxy Z Flip 5. Except for the battery, it is also known that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 will feature a screen with a relatively square aspect ratio compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 5.
Jumping on the camera specification, it also already came to be known that the sixth generation Galaxy Flip 6 foldable will get a 50MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP selfie camera. Whereas the Galaxy Fold 6 will get a 50MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera, and a 10MP selfie camera.
However, the brand has not officially announced these upcoming foldables yet.
