Last week, Samsung rolled out the February 2024 security patch for the Galaxy S22 series devices, but it was limited to the US. Now,  with the expansion, the company has started rolling out the update for the device in South Korea.

The latest update will not provide any significant new features for the smartphones, but it will make sure that the devices will get overall security enhancements. The update aims to provide more convenience to the working of the devices.

Notably, the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are getting new updates with the firmware version numbers S901NKSS3DXAH, S906NKSS3DXAH, and S908NKSS3DXAH, respectively. The update is coming in a software package of 451.29MB.

As looking at the software package size, it is pretty much confirmed that the new update for the Galaxy S22 could not bring any major changes for the devices, but it is possible that the company may introduce some bug fixes internally, so if you also want more enhancements for your device, then you should update your device to the latest version.

The February 2024 security update is now available for the Galaxy S22 series devices in South Korea. If you are using any of the devices, you can now easily install the latest update by going to the system software menu through system main settings.

The Galaxy S22 was introduced back in 2022; it came with Android 12 preinstalled, and later, it has already received two major updates, Android 13 and Android 14, sequentially. As the company has already listed the device in the five-year software update eligible category, it will still get more software updates until 2027.
