Telegram Launches Monetization Program for Channel Owners in March

Telegram is a fast-growing social media platform known for its unique utility features and convenient functionality. It is worth noticing that company developers are constantly bringing new features to the application. For instance, it has brought some new bot features, enhanced call background, and many more. Now the company is planning to introduce a new monitoring system for channel owners.
Channel owners now get rewards on the basis of views
Earlier, channel owners didn’t have any option to generate money from the application; they only relied on some alternative marketing tools like affiliate marketing, selling things, offering consultations, advertising about any particular brand, etc. Now, according to Du Rove, the channel owners will get a new source of income where they only have to take care of views, and on the basis of views, they will get the opportunity to earn more money.
However, this monetization is already working in some counties, but now the company has announced plans to expand it to 100 more counties. Currently, the company hasn’t announced the date officially, but it can be introduced anytime in March.
The Chennel owners will start to get 50% of any revenue that the application makes from displaying the ads on their channels. For ensuring the same in ad payments and withdrawals, the company has said that it will use the TON blockchain. This means channel owners will get the reward in the form of tokens, which they can withdraw or reinvest in promoting and upgrading their channels.
However, the company hasn’t provided any detailed information about how any channels will be eligible to get monetized or how exactly the rewards system works on the basis of views, so we have to wait for it until the company officially brings this to all the users.
