Youtube Might Offer Free Picture-in-Picture Everywhere

YouTube is one of the largest video streaming platforms; it has a monopoly in the market in terms of the large number of free content options available. For a better user experience, there are several features available, like offline downloading, live captioning, time stamps, and many more. The Picture in Picture (PiP) feature is also one of the cool features that the company will give you.
In case you don’t know about the feature, here is a quick introduction: the PiP feature allows users to watch YouTube videos even while working on other applications. The feature allows the user to shrink the YouTube video into a small window, which makes it able to work anywhere on the screen.
The PiP feature is a new feature, but it has been available for Android users for many years. Later, YouTube made it limited to premium users. In 2022, the company again made it free to use, but only for US customers. Now, according to the information, it will soon be available for other markets as well.
As per the report, the functionality has already started working in Germany. As per the user discussing it on Reddit, they have found it working on their devices, while in India it has not started working yet. but still, there is doubt about whether it is available officially and may be in the testing phase. Therefore, it may be limited to some European users.
However, there were some restrictions applicable to non-premium users, as they will not be able to enjoy PiP mode with music videos, and it does not stop here; a Reddit user also claims that the company will also restrict those videos that have used copyright content, like songs, which means the feature may not be that worthy to use in free mode.
