Samsung Partners with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for PlayStation 5

A new partnership in town: Samsung gets partnered with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for PlayStation 5.
Presently, Square Enix has introduced the second Final Fantasy game in its organized trilogy of PlayStation remakes. Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth is out now, but at the moment only for the PlayStation 5.
The Korean brand and its 990 Pro, along with Heatsink SSD, are the official partners of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. This new partnership is pointing towards the abilities of an SSD as an accessory for PlayStation 5 gamers. Since video games make headway and become more graphically intricate, their size is also increasing. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is on the large side, with an install size of 145GB.
670 GB of usable storage is roughly provided by the PlayStation 5 console, which seems not enough for gamers who prefer to install more than a couple of AAA games. Fortunately, the PlayStation 5 gaming console has a storage expansion bay for SSDs.
Noticeably, each SSD now has the ability to be a supported or even recommended storage solution for Sony’s console, and now it is officially recognized by Square Enix. Along with up to 4TB of storage, the 990 Pro with Heatsink provides enough space for the latest generation’s high-end games. The 990 Pro with Heatsink is fast enough to stand beside the PlayStation 5’s internal storage, offering sequential read and write speeds of up to 7,450 MB/s and 6,900 MB/s sequentially.
990 Pro is equipped with a heatsink, which gives it the ability to safely and reliably function inside the PlayStation 5’s storage expansion slot without overheating. As per the Korean giants, PlayStation 5 players can upgrade their consoles along with the 990 Pro coupled with Heatsink and have Final Fantasy VII Rebirth ready to play in just about 10 minutes. For a seamless experience, the users must have fast internet download speeds to achieve that 10-minute installation time.
Here’s the price of the 990 Pro SSD with Heatsink:
- 1TB variant: $154
- 2TB variant: $239
- 4TB variant: $419
Also, interested parties can grab it now at discounts of up to $70.
