Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 start getting March updates widely

Samsung is constantly expanding the March 2024 security patch update. Initially, the company rolled out the update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 in the U.S. Now, moving forward, the company has also been expanding to more countries.

According to the information, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 were spotted getting the update in several countries, including Africa, Asia, Europe, and Australia. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is getting new updates in Africa, Asia, and Europe, with the firmware version number F721BXXS5EXBF. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is being updated in European countries with firmware version number F936BXXS5EXBF.

The March 2024 security patch update will enhance the device’s security mechanism. In other words, the device will get more enhancements for its workings. 

Going into details, the March update will bring more than 40 patches, 37 of which are added by Google, that enhance the overall security of the Android OS. The update also includes 9 more security patches, which Samsung includes to improve the functionality of the Galaxy devices exclusively.

If you are using the Galaxy Z Flip 4 or Galaxy Z Fold 4 device in the regions mentioned above, you should get a new update notification. If you still haven’t received it, you can check the update manually by going to the software update via system settings.
