Here’s How AI Tools Are Accelerate The Debut Of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Flip 6

Samsung fans are eagerly waiting for the next big event of the brand, which is obviously the Galaxy Unpacked event. The brand is also setting up to launch a bunch of Galaxy devices at an event.

We already reported that Samsung would hold the next Galaxy Unpacked event in early July, which is in the second week. As Samsung has debuted on-device AI on the Galaxy S24 series, maybe that’s one of the reasons why it is selling about 10% more as compared to its predecessor. This prospect of the giants could continue the momentum by launching next-gen foldable phones early.

The Korean brand is actively working to launch the next foldable smartphones, named the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. And if the leaks and rumors are to be believed, then we are also gearing up for the earlier debut of the fan edition of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, named Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE.

Usually, the production of components begins in early May 2024, just before 2-3 weeks of the launch schedule, hinting at a possible launch date that is by the middle of July. although a plan for a lower-priced Galaxy Z Fold 6 model appears to release in September or October. The reason behind this seems to be to avoid competition along with the iPhone 16 launch since that is expected at the same time. And the Galaxy Z Fold 6 entry-level model shipment target is not enough for 200,000 to 300,000 units.

The time brand has decided to go with the slimmer design, which means that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 series could be thinner as compared to its predecessor; this also includes the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6. The new entry-level variant, since it would not support the S Pen stylus, The brand is expected to claim the title of the thinnest foldable smartphone, probably by competing with Huawei.

Apart from the foldable, it is expected that the brand will decide on specs and suppliers for the next-generation Galaxy smartphone, the Galaxy S25 series, by May 2024. It seems that mass production for this device may start in November 2024, similar to its predecessor. The reports showcase that the shipments of the iPhone 15 are below expectations, and the analysts are predicting $4 billion in sales as compared to what was anticipated for the first quarter of this year.

On the comparison side, Galaxy S24 sales are already 10% higher than those of its predecessor in a similar period. The Korean giants are aiming to ship at least 10 million foldable smartphones in 2024. The success of the Galaxy S24 series is partially due to its on-device AI marketing efforts.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is next in line to expand the flagship S series, is supposed to be scheduled for early 2025, and is expected to be powered by the in-house Exynos in the Galaxy S25 Ultra model as well.

Samsung usually announces its latest S series smartphone early in the first quarter of the year; for instance, the Galaxy S24 debuted in January this year and the Galaxy S23 debuted in February 2023. According to these schedules, the Galaxy S25 is expected to debut sometime between January and February.

Now the reports are unveiling that this time Samsung could ditch the Snapdragon chipset for its in-house Exynos 2500 to power the Galaxy S25 Ultra model. This is being reported by a tipster on X by sharing a post. He mentioned that internally at Samsung, it’s determined that the Exynos 2500 does not hang back behind the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in all prospects, such as quality.

Meanwhile, it’s not clear yet whether this is because the Nuvia cores of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 are not good, making the Exynos 2500 relatively better, or if the Exynos 2500 itself is better.

From the two-generation Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24, Samsung relies on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset for the Ultra variant, but now it appears that Samsung could use the Exynos 2500 chipset for the forthcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphone. However, Samsung has not officially unveiled anything regarding this report yet.
