Samsung ‘Galaxy S23 FE’ Could Stand With ‘S23’ Family; Both Will Get One UI 6.1 Simultaneously
Samsung, to increase the enthusiasm among 2023’s flagship owners, has already officially revealed that by the end of this month, it will roll out, awaiting the Android 14-based One UI 6.1 update, at least in some regions.
Samsung has stated that One UI 6.1 is coming to 2023’s flagship smartphones, which are the Galaxy S23 lineup, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series. The schedule appears to go with the flow along with a change since reports are saying that this time the Korean giants are planning to roll out a new version of One UI to ‘Galaxy S’ as well as the fan edition ‘Galaxy S FE’ together.
Usually, Samsung first rolls out software updates to its flagship ones, then goes to the rest of the devices, but if the reports are to be believed, the fan edition Galaxy S23 FE will also get the one UI 6.1 update alongside the Galaxy S23 series.
One UI 6.1 will bring various features based on the recently introduced Galaxy AI, including voice transcription, real-time language translation during calls and messaging, circle to search, webpage summarization in Samsung Internet, note summarization, and many more.
The upcoming One UI 6.1 update will include interpreter mode, which will be convenient while conversing with someone who doesn’t know your language. It will also offer several generative AI-based image editing options, including crooked angles and erasing unwanted objects in an image, to enhance the users’ editing experience. With this One UI 6.1 update, Samsung Keyboard will also get AI-powered features such as grammar improvement suggestions, language styling suggestions, and so on.
Meanwhile, excluding Galaxy AI-powered features, the upcoming One UI 6.1 update will also bring new lock screen mini widgets, a custom font option to enhance the lock screen clock widget, and wallpaper frames and color effects.
