Samsung Stops One UI Software Updates for Select Galaxy Devices

Samsung has officially published full documentation on the April 2024 security patch, where it has shared all the details about the new security patch. With the latest update, it has also revealed the information of devices that are eligible to get the security patches. With the latest published document, we also got to know about the device that is no longer eligible to get any new updates.
Samsung follows an updated policy where it promises to provide software updates to Galaxy devices at a certain time, like entry-level to some budget segment devices are eligible for at least four years of software update support, and midrange and high-end devices are eligible to get at least five years of software update support.
As there are already many devices that were released three, four, or five years ago, Samsung has now decided to end the software support for these devices. The list includes the Galaxy Z Flip LTE, the Galaxy M21, and the Galaxy Tab A8.4 (2020). All these three devices were launched back in 2020, and Samsung has promised to software update them up to four. Now this year, these devices have reached their limit.
