Samsung Expert RAW on Galaxy S23 & Fold 5 Gains New ND Filter Options
Last year, we spotted the neutral density filter for the Galaxy device, which is in the Expert Raw application with firmware version number 3.0.02.8. However, at that time the feature was under development, so we shared the process to enable the feature for your device through the Lab option. Now, the company has started rolling out the feature for all the units of the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy Z Fold 5, which appeared directly on the Expert Raw.
For your information, the neutral density filter will help reduce the artificial light and prevent photos from overexposure. Usually, this filter comes as a physical state for a camera that covers the lens, but Samsung has developed it as software that will manage the lighting of the photo with the algorithm.
The feature is especially useful for those users who want to capture the night sky. It allows users to capture maximum details of the sky by managing the color intensity and clarity.
You can take advantage of this new feature with the latest update of Expert RAW, which comes with the firmware version number 3.0.05.12. So to take advice, you just need to update the Expert Raw. To install the latest update, you just need to go to the Galaxy Store, search for Expert Raw, and tap on the update. If the update is not available yet, you can also update your application from Expert Raw.
