Galaxy Watch 6 grabs new March 2024 update in South Korea
Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 6 series back in 2023. The smartwatch came with One UI Watch 5 based on Wear OS 4, and as these devices are already predicted to get at least five years of software updates, the Korean giant has already had some updates in the form of security patches.
However, some updates are not only limited to security patches, but they also provide some new features and improvements. For instance, in the earlier update, the company introduced a new feature to enable users to display Samsung Health data on a Samsung TV. With the fresh update, it will provide improvements and make the functionality more stable.
The latest update for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is coming with the firmware version number R9*0XXU1AXC2. As of writing, the update has been spotted on the Bluetooth variants in South Korea, and in the next few days, the company will provide the update to the LTE version.
If you are using the Galaxy Watch 6 series in South Korea, then you should start getting new software updates. To check the update, just follow these simple steps: go to the watch settings, then select watch software update and hit the download and install option.
