Unlocked Galaxy S20 and Galaxy A52 5G grabbing March 2024 security update in the USA

Samsung has already rolled out the March 2024 security patch update to all Galaxy devices, but due to some server limitations, the company isn’t able to succeed in providing the update to all regions. Like now, the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy A52 5G have started getting updates in the US.

The unlocked units of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra are getting the latest update via the firmware version numbers G981U1UES8HXC1, G986U1UES8HXC1, and G988U1UES8HXC1, respectively. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A52 5G is getting the same update with the firmware version number A526U1UESCFXC6.

The latest update brings the March 2024 security patch, which is a standard security patch update that doesn’t bring any significant features, but if you are conscious of the security of your device, then you should always keep your device updated to the latest version.

Going into the details, the March 2024 security patch will provide more than 40 fixes, of which 37 were introduced by Google that enhance the overall function of the Android OS and are causing some security issues. Along with this, Samsung has also added nine more security-related patches, which will improve the overall functionality of the devices.

Moreover, the latest update could also bring home other fixes that will improve the performance and stability of the day. If you want to take advantage of all the new features, you should update your device to the latest version. To do that, you just go to the system settings.
