Samsung is back on track with actively providing the security patch update to its devices, even earlier than Google. The company has already started rolling out the April 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy S24 series device in the last week of March. Then it gradually expanded the update to more devices.

As it is one of the security patch updates, it will not bring any new features or significant changes for the devices, but it has addressed several security-related issues that may be harmful to your device and can leak your sensitive information.

According to the official document, there are a total of 44 types of security vulnerability issues addressed; more specifically, Google has included 27 patches that will enhance the functionality of the Android OS. Meanwhile, Samsung has added 17 more patches that exclusively address issues related to Galaxy devices.

Samsung is gradually expanding the update to eligible devices, where it randomly rolls out the update to several devices. You can check out the list below; however, the devices mentioned in the list that have received the update are limited to some countries, so if you are using any of the devices and haven’t received the update yet, then you have to wait for some time.
