Verizon Galaxy Tab S9+ 5G grabs One UI 6.1 update in the US
Samsung has already confirmed that it will provide the One UI 6.1 update to the last year’s flagship device in March, and keeping its promise, the company has started rolling out the update for all the devices from the end of last month, but due to the server limitation, it has not been successful to deliver the update to all the devices.
Now with the latest development, the Galaxy Tab S9+ 5G is starting to get the One UI 6.1 update in the US. More specifically, the update is spotted for the locked version of the device, which is bound to the Verizon network. It carries the firmware version number X818USQU2BXC9. It is still using the February 2024 security patch for security.
With the One UI 6.1 update, Samsung has brought several new features and improvements that will bring a whole new experience in communication and personalization.
The company has introduced several new AI features, including Note Assist, Interpreter, Chat Assist Circle to Search, Live Call Translation, Browsing Assist, and Transcript Assist, etc.
Additionally, the update has also brought several new customization enhancements to several applications, including wallpaper alarms, calendars, reminders, and many more. Apart from these, the update has also brought some new features for enabling connectivity and sharing. For instance, Quick Share, which is integrated with the nearby share, will easily connect with other Android devices as well. For locating the device, the company has introduced a new application such as Samsung Find, etc.
If you want to take advantage of all these new changes and features, then you should update your device to the latest version. To do that, you just need to go to the software update menu via system settings. If the update is available, then tap on the download button.
