More specifically, the unlocked variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are getting new updates with the firmware version numbers F946U1UES2CXCI and F731U1UES2CXC, respectively.
Meanwhile, the locked versions of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are getting a new update with the firmware version numbers F946USQS2CXCI and F731USQS2CXCI, respectively. Several carriers, including Verizon, Comcast, Spectrum Mobile, and Verizon, have already received the update as of this writing.
With the April 2024 security patch, users will not get any new features or other improvements that can be visible to them, but it will surely enhance the overall security of the devices.
