Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is the first tablet that initially got the May 2024 security patch among all tablets. However, with the latest update, the device will not get any new features, but it will surely provide enhancements for the security and network connectivity of the device.
The May 2024 security patch for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is coming with the firmware version number P619XXU6CXE2. The update is currently spotted in Europe, and it is expected that the company will provide the update in more countries. Don’t confuse it with a new one; the update is available for the 2022 edition device.
It is worth noticing that Samsung has also brought regional LTE TDD support. With this band support, the device will be capable of catching 4G networks with more stability. However, it is important to note that if you purchased the device from Germany, you will not be able to receive LTE TDD signals in other countries, including Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.
Apart from the 4G enhancement, there has been no significant change for the devices; however, if you are facing any other issues while using the device functionalities, then you should try the latest update as it may improve the overall functionality of the devices.
To install the latest update on your device, follow some simple steps: First, go to the system settings, then select the software update menu. Here you will see the option “download and install.” When you tap on it, start searching for the update, and if it says a new update is available, then tap on the download button.
