Galaxy Z Fold 6’s Latest Image Leak Highlights Wider Cover Screen and Thinner Bezels

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is the active part of leaks and rumors in the tech market for now. A new leak is showcasing the Galaxy Z Fold 6 from the back. Let’s take a closer look at the leaked design.

Recently, the leaks suggested the Galaxy Z Fold 6 from the front side, and now the new leak reveals the back design of the phone. However, in both leaks, the overall design does not appear, but that’s enough to confirm some of what we have heard regarding the design of the upcoming foldable so far.

Noticeably, this new leak confirms a new ridged design for the rings that surround the rear-facing camera lenses. This ridged design was first seen in a leaked photo of one of the camera lenses a couple of days ago, and it slightly looks cheap and completely out of place on a flagship smartphone that will cost over $1500. The leaked image also seems to be wider than existing Galaxy Z Fold devices. This suggests that Samsung is working on offering a bigger display.

It is reported that the Korean giant is keeping the big display size upgrade for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim models that are expected to debut alongside the standard Z Fold 6 by the end of this year. The first hands-on image of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 shows that the Korean giant will introduce something Galaxy Z Fold users have demanded for years.

The forthcoming foldable phone has a wider cover screen than the Galaxy Z Fold 5. Previously, the rear camera design leaked, and now a well-reliable tipster, Ice Universe, has shared the first full image of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It suggests the phone will have a wider cover screen and sharper edges on both the phone’s body and the cover screen than the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

Reportedly, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to feature a foldable screen with a negligible visible crease and the same camera arrangement as the Galaxy Z Fold 5, so no major upgrades are expected. Samsung could power the device with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It could also have a titanium frame as well as Gorilla Glass Armor screen protection, similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
