Samsung Leads the Pack in Gen-AI Smartphone Market for Q1

Samsung has entered the generative AI smartphone market with its flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, which are powered by Galaxy AI and have already been successful in grabbing the attention of consumers. A new report also shares data showing that all three latest flagship smartphones secured the top three positions in the global generative AI smartphone market.
According to the report presented by Counterpoint, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is leading with a 30 percent market share, while the Galaxy S24 base comes in second with a 16.8 percent market share. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24+ version comes in third with 11.5 percent of the market.

It is worth noticing that Samsung was the first company to debut its smartphones with multiple AI features, and later other companies gradually brought their latest smartphones to the market. The list of AI features smartphones like Google, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, and Honor. But these companies have been successful in implementing AI in their systems with optimizations.
In the list of top ten smartphones, Xiaomi has also dominated with its two devices, including the Xiami 14 and the Xiomi 14 Pro, with 7.7 and 4.4 market shares, respectively. Meanwhile, if we talk about other brands, these models have secured positions in the top ten positions: Vivo, Oppo Find X7, OnePlus 12, Honor Magic 8, and Google Pixel 8 Pro.
