Galaxy Watch FE’s Name and Key Details Revealed Pre-Launch
Samsung has recently confirmed the existence of the Galaxy Watch FE by making the support page for the wearable live on its official website. The name and other essential details of the upcoming Galaxy Watch FE were revealed even before the launch.
On one note, Samsung is already setting up to introduce its next smartwatch series, which will have three models, including the Galaxy Watch FE, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra. A new certification platform has listed the Galaxy Watch FE, confirming the name and the wearable’s model numbers and Bluetooth version.
The listing of the smartwatch mentions the wearable’s name, the Galaxy Watch FE, which has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG platform. Reportedly, the Galaxy Watch FE has Bluetooth 5.3, similar to the Galaxy Watch 7, and it will arrive in four variants with specific model numbers:
- SM-R861, SM-R866F, SM-R866N, and SM-R866U
The variant with the SM-R866F will be the international version of the Galaxy Watch FE that Samsung will sell in various countries across the globe. The watch’s next variant with the version number SM-R866N will arrive in the South Korean market, and the SM-R866U will be the wearable model that the brand will sell in the United States.
If the rumors are believed, the Galaxy Watch FE will be a rebranded variant of the Galaxy Watch 4. The brand is close to launching the next-generation wearable smartwatch series at the next Galaxy Unpacked event in July next month.
