New Leak Unveils Expected Design and Features of Galaxy Watch FE

Samsung is regular in the report regarding its next-generation wearable smartwatches, especially since it is looking forward to releasing its ever-first Fan Edition smartwatch under the name Galaxy Watch FE. 

Samsung is about to launch its Galaxy Watch 7 series at the next Galaxy Unpacked event in July. The new report says that Samsung will debut the Galaxy Watch FE. Although previously it was reported that the upcoming Galaxy Watch FE could be a rebranded variant of the Galaxy Watch 4, now it seems true. A tipster on shared the first set of images of the upcoming Galaxy Watch FE with its features, which suggests that it is the rebranded version of the Galaxy Watch 4. 

The watch could arrive in three color variants: black, blue, and pink. The silicon wristband has colorful bits toward its connector. The Galaxy Watch FE will be 40 mm in measurement. It will feature a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 396 x 396 pixels. The brand will be powered by the Exynos W920 dual-core processor, and the storage package will include 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internet storage.

It runs Wear OS 4-based One UI 5 Watch softwareIt has GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC. As per the report, it will also feature a few essential functionalities such as an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, BIA sensor, ECG, gyro, and heart rate monitor. It is said to be powered by a 247 mAh battery that is claimed to offer up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge. 

Similar to the rest of the Galaxy Watch variants, it also has magnetic wireless charging. To add an extra layer of protection, it features an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It also appears to have an MIL-STD-810H-compliant design. Two buttons are housed on the right side, similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy Watch. Alongside the Galaxy Watch 7 series, Samsung could also unveil the Galaxy Watch FE officially at its next Galaxy Unpacked event. Apart from the Galaxy watches, the giant will also debut a few more devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Ring
