Samsung Surprises Galaxy A51 5G Users with Update After Support Period Ends

Samsung has recently published its official June 2024 bulletin. In this documentation, the company has introduced a fresh list of eligible devices and removed some Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy A51. It is now surprising that the company has rolled out the May 2024 update for the device.

Samsung has rolled out the May 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy A51 5G device in different regions. As of writing, the locked variant of the device is getting a new update with the firmware version number A516USQSFGXE2. Meanwhile, the international variant is getting an update with the firmware version number A516BXXS9FXE3. It is expected that the device will get the update in more regions in the next few days.

Samsung May 2024 security patch update

The May 2024 security patch doesn’t bring any visible changes for the devices, but it will internally bring some improvements and fixes that will enhance the overall security of the devices. According to the official documentation, the update has brought more than 50 fixes, where Google has added 31 patches for fixes for the Android OS-related enhancement and Samsung has added 25 fixes that improve the overall performance of the devices.

Moreover, the update may also bring some extra fixes that will improve the overall performance and stability of the different functions available on the devices. So if you are having any issues while using the device after updating it to the latest update, then you should check out the latest update. To do that, you just need to go to the software update menu in the system settings.
