Samsung has started rolling out the May 2024 security patch update in Europe for the Galaxy Tab S7 devices; however, this is not an initial update, while earlier it grabbed the same update in the US for locked units. With the latest update, you will not get any significant changes, but with the latest update, you will not get any significant changes that will improve the overall security of the devices.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series has started getting the May 2024 security patch update in Europe. The devices are spotted reciting the update in several countries, including Uzbekistan, Slovenia, Russia, Greece, Bulgaria, Spain, the United Kingdom, Poland, Hungary, Portugal (TPH), the Baltic, Ukraine (Kyivstar), Slovakia, Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg, France, Romania, South East Europe, the Netherlands, Nordic countries, the Czech Republic, and Italy. Users who own the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ can identify the update with the firmware version numbers T875XXS7DXE6 and T976BXXS6DXE4, respectively. In the coming days, more countries will be added to the list.

May 2024 security patch details

The May 2024 security patch is one of the standard updates that doesn’t bring any significant updates, but it will surely provide some internal improvements that will strengthen the security of the device. According to the official documentation, the May 2024 update will fix more than 50 security vulnerabilities. Going into the details, Google has brought 31 fixes that enhance the overall performance of the Android OS. Along with this, Samsung has also brought some new features that enhance the Galaxy device.
