Samsung introduced a bundle of AI features under the title Galaxy AI with the release of the Samsung Galaxy S24 and One UI 6.1. The giant is setting up to expand the AI tools with the next iteration, One UI 6.1.1, and its upcoming foldable smartphones.
Galaxy AI features could improve with One UI 6.1.1
Previously, the giant hinted that it would expand the Galaxy AI feature set in the future. Now, a reliable tipster on X shared a post that suggests that the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have some new AI features, one of which would be particularly interesting.
Samsung has already started its internal One UI 6.1.1 testing for Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. Meanwhile, the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will run One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14 out of the box. The tipster claims that the design changes and improvements will come with One UI 7.0. Samsung reportedly upgraded the user interface and user experience with Android 15-based One UI 7.0, but expected to be released later this year.
One UI 7.0 will likely be released in beta on the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S24, and the rest of the other premium devices. Once the testing is over, the stable update will likely be released on the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z devices soon.
Samsung is actively preparing to debut its sixth-generation Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 at the next Galaxy Unpacked event, which will take place early next month on 10 July. In addition to the foldable, the brand will introduce other products, including the Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Ring, and Buds.
