Samsung has initiated the June 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy S24 series in the US, but due to server limitations, the company hasn’t been successful in providing the latest security update to all the units of the Galaxy S24 devices. Earlier, these devices received updates on some locked units; now they have started getting updates on the unlocked units as well.

Users who own the unlocked units of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra can identify the latest update by the firmware version numbers S921U1UES2AXE4, S926U1UES2AXE4, and S928U1UES2AXE4, respectively.

As of writing, the update for the Galaxy S24 has been spotted on TracFone and is expected to be available on more carriers in the next few hours. However, the update isn’t bringing any important features or improvements to the device.

For your information, the June 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy S24 device will bring nearly 60 fixes that will improve the internal functioning of the devices and the overall security of the devices. In detail, there are 37 patches included by Google and 22 patches added by Samsung for its Galaxy devices exclusively.

If you are using the Galaxy S24 device in the US, then you can now update your device manually by going to the system settings. If you find a new update available, tap on the download button.
