Samsung Inroduces SmartThings Pro

Samsung introduced SmartThings Pro at the Infocomm 2024 expo in Las Vegas, USA. The giant assures that it is a hyper-connectivity platform that authorizes improved integration between smart devices and services; for instance, it can be used to link and adequately manage air conditioning, humidity control, lighting, security cameras, intelligent signage displays, temperature control, and TVs in a hotel or office space.

SmartThings Pro offers a separate dashboard view for checking each device’s connection status through AI analysis. Its AI Energy Saving Mode can reduce the power consumption of devices such as AC and displays in a business environment. Samsung’s enterprise-grade smart device management platform will feature APIs that businesses and enterprises can use to merge their systems into SmartThings Pro.

Cisco’s Control Hub will bring its famous video conferencing solution, whereas Aqara’s collaboration will enhance hotel guests’ experiences. The Korean giant has also started gearing up to integrate Quividi’s cloud-based customer data analysis platform.

The Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ B2B Solutions Team, Park Chan-woo, stated, “We will further develop Samsung Electronics’ IoT solutions for the B2B market through SmartThings Pro. We will provide customized solutions optimized for everything from residential and commercial spaces to public facilities like schools.”

Apart from this, the Korean giant also introduced its massive 420-inch display, The Wall, a modular Micro LED display. It features extremely high brightness, self-emissive pixels, perfect blacks, self-emissive pixels, and more. The brand has also displayed its transparent Micro LED TV technology.
