Samsung is gradually rolling out the June 2024 security patch update for eligible Galaxy devices. Previously, it served the update to the latest flagship devices, including Galaxy S24. Now, the company has turned its focus towards older devices like the Galaxy Note 20 series.

Galaxy Note 20 series received new firmware in Europe and the US 

Notably, in the US, the June 2024 update hit carrier-locked units of the Galaxy Note 20 series. Along with the update, it also arrived in some parts of Europe. According to the information, the latest update comes with the firmware version number HFX1.

The June 2024 update for the Galaxy device is now live. It doesn’t make any significant changes, but it will provide improvements to the Galaxy device’s security departments, which will ensure that you will get all-around protection against different types of external threats.

According to the information, the June 2024 security patch will address 59 vulnerabilities. Google has added 37 patches, and Samsung has applied 22 patches, which will improve the overall performance and stability of the devices.

The last few updates for the Galaxy Note 20 series

Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 20 series in 2020; this device came with Android 10 preinstalled, and they grabbed three more significant updates according to the policy; these devices are no longer eligible to get any significant OS updates but still can receive some more security patch updates until August.
