One UI 7.0 to Bring iOS-Style Swipe Down for Notifications and Quick Settings
Samsung is known for its innovation, which it regularly tries with its software or hardware upgrades. Therefore, its users always get excited to get new changes to the software or hardware to unlock the device’s full potential. It is worth noting that the company always focuses on small details where the improvement is needed. For example, with One UI 6.0, the company has introduced the option to open a full quick-setting panel by swiping down from the right side. But still, there is improvement that is needed to open the Quick Star menu easily.
Samsung Integrates iOS-Style Swipe Down Menu in One UI 7.0
In the latest response from the moderator, it is considered a new upgrade for the Quick setting, where the user will be able to open the Quick settings separately. In simple words, if you want to swipe down on the home screen to open either notifications or quick settings, it will be available in the next update.
We will review whether the integration of the Home screen to open the notification window function and QuickStar Quick Settings window can be supported by One UI 7.0.

However, the moderator hasn’t fully confirmed the availability of this change, but it is expected that the new functionality will be available with the One UI 7.0 update.
As far as the availability of the One UI 7.0 update is concerned, it is expected that the company will provide the update, which will be available in the upcoming months. If you are using an eligible device, then you have to wait at least for the official release of Android 15. Then you can expect the availability of the update for your device. However, before the official update, the company will start the beta rollout, which will be available for select devices.
