The Galaxy A53 gets a June 2024 update in Europe

The Galaxy A53 has started getting a new update in Europe with the firmware version number A536BXXSAEXF1. According to the changelog, the latest update for the device will improve security. It means you will not get any significant changes for the device; it will only bring some new features for the device.

Going into details, the update brings fixes for more than 50 security vulnerabilities found in the software since the last update. Here,  Google has applied 37 patches, and to the satisfaction of customers, Samsung has also added 22 more patches that improve the overall security of the devices.

However, sometimes the security updates also bring new changes to the software, which make improvements to the function and eradicate those issues. If you are using the device in Europe, then you should start receiving new updates, but if you haven’t received the update yet, then wait for some time until the update reaches your device.

For your information, the Galaxy A53 made its debut in the market back in 2022, and it came with Android 12 pre-installed. Later, it received two more major updates in the form of Android 13 and Android 14. Following the software update policy, the device will get one more security patch update.
