Samsung brings June 2024 security update for Galaxy M15 and Galaxy F15

Last week, Samsung introduced the latest June 2024 security patch to many popular devices belonging to the flagship and midrange categories. Now the company has started expanding the update to budget-friendly devices, including the Galaxy M15 and Galaxy F15.
Notably, the Galaxy M15 device is spotted reviving the June 2024 security patch in India and Europe with the firmware version numbers M156BXXS2AXF3 and M156BXXS2AXF2, respectively. Meanwhile, the Galaxy F15 has received an update in India with the firmware version number E156BXXS2AXF1.
The June 2024 security patch update is one of the normal device maintenance software updates that doesn’t bring any surprising features or major improvements, but it will provide some internal changes that will not provide direct benefit to the user but will provide indirect advantages as the device will get more protected against external threats.
According to the official changelog, it doesn’t specify any important changes for the device, so we can assume that the update will only make some internal changes that will improve the system’s security and stability.
If you are using the Galaxy F15 and Galaxy M15 devices in the above-mentioned reaction, then you can now update your devices to the latest version just by going to the software update menu via system settings. If the new update hasn’t arrived for your device yet, then you have to wait a few more hours, as it may take some time to reach every unit.
