Samsung rolled out the June 2024 security patch for Galaxy A55 in Brazil

Last month, Samsung rolled out the June 2024 security patch to popular devices, but for some reason, the company hasn’t provided the update to the Galaxy A55 at the ideal time. However, now that it is gradually distributing the update to all the units, the update has reached Latin American countries.
Samsung has rolled out the June 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy A55 5G in Brazil with the firmware version number A556EXXS3AXF4. The update is coming with a minor software package of 220 MB, which denotes that the latest update will not provide any major changes for the devices. It is expected that the company will expand the update to more units of the Galaxy A55 in Latin American countries.
As the name suggests, the June 2024 security patch provides some security enactments that will bring some changes to the internal functioning of the devices, which will provide an edge towards their protection.
The June 2024 update brought nearly 60 fixes, of which 37 were added by Google, which will provide enhancements for Android devices. Meanwhile, Samsung has also introduced 22 more patches exclusively for Samsung devices. Along with the security enhancement, the company sometimes brings more improvements to the system.
If you are using the Galaxy A55 in Brazil, then you should start getting notification of it, but if you haven’t received the update yet, you can check for the update from the software update menu through system settings.
